Personal Background
Sonja Benjamin is a Certified Classical Homeopath (CCH) and
has been practicing homeopathy in the Atlanta area since 2002. She
is nationally certified in Classical Homeopathy by the Council for
Homeopathic Certification (CHC). She consults with clients all over
the world including Spain, Germany, and Israel. She graduated from
the British Institute of Homeopathy and has studied with internationally
renowned homeopaths George Vithoulkas, Robin Murphy, Henny Heudens-Mast,
and Jeremy Sherr. Sonja consults with clients covering a wide range
of conditions.
Sonja was born
in Germany and has lived half her life in Germany and the other
half in the United States. She taught math and English for 25 years,
both in Germany and in the United States.
In 1984, she developed adult onset asthma. Over the course of the
next few years, her asthma became severe. Her doctors prescribed
a number of different prescription drugs, but no medication or combination
of drugs could cure her asthma. Since conventional medicine did
not have a cure for asthma, in 1995, Sonja began seeking various
alternative healing therapies to regain her health.
She was introduced to Classical Homeopathy with amazing results.
Within six weeks, 80% of her asthmatic symptoms had disappeared.
She was so excited about the amazing healing process she had experienced
that she decided to study Classical Homeopathy.
Today, thanks to Classical Homeopathy, Sonja is healthier than ever
before. She has consulted with many clients, in the Atlanta area
and around the world, concerning a wide range of acute and chronic
disorders. As a homeopathic educator, she has conducted seminars
in the US and Europe.

and Seattle to help with various health issues over the past
20+ years. I have overcome asthma, Lupus and M.E. in great part
I believe, to the effectiveness of homeopathic medicine.

with. Not only is she extremely professional and knowledgeable,
but she has an astute and intuitive way of working which makes

associates, and my whole family is now working with her to
gain and maintain optimum health.
It has been my
experience that conventional medicine causes more adverse
reactions and damage than healing effects, and every time
I turn to homeopathy, my healing has been achieved in such
a way that it addresses my whole being, not just the 'symptoms'.
I don't always understand the 'magic' of homeopathy, but through
experience I know it works and it certainly is a holistic
approach based on a science and hundreds of years of effectiveness.

Background
Degrees
In 2002, Sonja successfully completed the Advanced Course
of Studies in Homeopathic Medicine from the British
Institute of Homeopathy and qualified for the award
of the Diploma of the British Institute. She is thereby authorized
to use the title DIHom.
In 1990, Sonja Benjamin received a Master of Education from
Emory University
in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 1971, Sonja received a Bachelor of Arts from the University
of Maryland.
Internships and Seminars
In 2003, Sonja studied with George Vithoulkas, Master
Homeopath and recipient of the 1996 Alternative Nobel Prize,
at the European Academy for Classical Homeopathy in Alonissos,
Greece. In 2000, Professor Vithoulkas was honored as the "Homeopath
of the Millennium" by the Central Government of India.
From 1999 to 2001, Sonja studied with Robin Murphy, ND,
renowned American homeopath and author of the popular textbooks
Homeopathic Medical Repertory and Homeopathic
Remedy Guide.
